(Some ramblings about the 4 day shoot for the movie 'Click'
In came the camera, the lights and the boom
And the props and the crew that followed soon
Around me rose a temporary world of reality
Reminding me so much of my own mortality
Scene, shot, take and the clap
The DP's camera caught moments in a trap
With the sounds that were picked up by the boom
Everyone had the smarts to be quiet in the room
With the Tungsten in all it's might
Daylight trickled through the night
Then there was the tape named gaffer
To make our shoot a lot less rougher
The camera fell in love with Ray
And Quinn showed his magic in his own cute way
With takes and retakes and yet another take
This was one hell of a movie in the make
The logger logged every take with care
While continuity knew what went where
When the DP called out 'SSD Full'
Backup had a new one with a magic that he did pull
With makeup as it's own art form
It could make your face cold or warm
Behind the scenes, with moves that were quick
A camera did click the making of Click
And when our feelings turned low,
There came the tea, the snacks and some divine food in tow
But when the yawns were oft, we longed for a hint
That the Director would utter 'Print'
With the lights off and the camera eyes shut
Why am I longing to hear another 'cut'?
But hey AD, for once you need not fret
For today, everything is indeed quiet on the set!
